The Shirodhara Experience
An Ayurvedic healing treatment, Shirodhara involves the continuous flow of warm herb-infused oil onto the chakras located between the eyebrows (3rd eye) and top of the head (crown).
A powerful tool for quieting the mind, this treatment focuses the thoughts, promotes enlightenment, and balances the body. Deeply & divinely relaxing, it especially helps with insomnia, memory loss, hormonal imbalance, headaches, mental tension & certain skin diseases.
Afterwards, the oil is massaged into the scalp and hair to nourish and rejuvenate, along with a neck, shoulders, and foot massage, ending with a hot towel foot wrap.
A soul-soothing experience! For optimum results, a series of 3 or more Shirodharas is recommended. (approx 2-1/2 hrs)
